Overview
A distributed investigation platform combining mobile-first forensic analysis, geospatial intelligence, and data pipelines for land title verification in emerging markets.
My Role
Founder and engineer responsible for product architecture, data workflows, and technical implementation.
The Problem
Land ownership verification in Kenya involves fragmented records, manual verification processes, and difficult-to-detect inconsistencies between documents.
Technical Decisions
- Implemented deterministic SHA256 hashing for forensic evidence integrity and tamper-evident audit logs
- Designed resilient realtime streaming via Redis Streams for durable replay and SSE with sequence-aware event dedup
- Orchestrated a multi-step agent loop for boundary verification and title analysis
- Secured endpoints with device-bound request signatures, policy-driven authorization, and rate limiting
Architecture
- Flutter (Mobile)
- FastAPI (Backend)
- Redis Streams
- Data Processing Workflows
Engineering Highlights
- Document processing pipeline
- Risk analysis workflows
- Security-first data handling
- Geospatial land boundary correlation
Results & Impact
- Enabled secure land title verification with robust auditability and graceful degradation under load
